NOTE: I do not expect to be forgiven for my inexcusable lateness in updating this chapter, but, in a vain attempt to at least obtain some of your pardon, I will try in any case - you see, dear friends, I was striken down by an illness that did not render me bedridden, but did not allow me to move around freely.   
However, fortunately - thank God - I am feeling better, and will put in my best efforts to dutifully post new chapters in the future. : )

Do forgive me, dear friends, as this chapter hardly makes up for my lateness as it is transitional. However, a lot of ideas sprung into my mind over the past week and I can hardly wait to share with with all of you! =D

Dear Friends,

I write to you with guilt and shame.

I apologize for not offering explanations for my sudden lack of updates.

In short, August is unmerciful; I was forced to accept such a conclusion unwillingly.

I plead you to spare me but a little of your patience; I have yet had much time for Hungarian Nocturne, but I will never discard it.

It is too precious to me.

I apologize if I do not comment on your wonderful works, or seem neglectful. Please understand that it has never been my intention to do so.

Late hours are not my best of times; I feel speechless.

I am sincerely sorry, and embrace you - embrace you with the most heartfelt love.

I'm glad to hear that you are glad! ; ) I must confess that I'm not even very sure how to go back to HN after such a long period of absense, but one day, I will have time to sit in front of my computer for a longer period of time than mere minutes and put at least something down! =D :iconbouquetplz:

Don't worry, I'm sure it will all come back to you in due time, when you have enough time to spare. :) Your characters must be exhausted after so many adventures, give them a little break and they'll probably come charging back at you very soon! ;)

I was thinking about you lately when I read George Sand's novel, Lucrezia Floriani.. It's funny because it's supposedly fiction, but it depicts herself, Chopin and Liszt SO obviously! And she's bitchin' Chopin big time for everything bad that ever happenned between them.. She's so mean, it actually starts being funny since it just reeks of frustration and petty vengeance! XD Still, I found it a nice insight on some aspects of their personalities, and the details on how "Liszt" cared so much about "Chopin" was pretty entertaining. Anyway, if you do get the chance to read an english translation, I read on the internet that the english version is not as good litterature-wise, but I'm sure the insight on the characters is pretty much the same. :)
